Ich bin ja seit neustem Besitzer eines WLAN fähigen PDA und Laptop und bin auch ganz froh drüber das die BA-Stuttgart ein WLAN für seine Studenten zur Verfügung stellt. Aber wo sonst kann man in Stuttgart surfen? Es gibt einige Hotspots in der Stadt aber die meisten sind Kostenpflichtig. Ich hab mal versucht einige Seiten und Fakten zusammen zu tragen:
- Mit dem Hotspot Finder kann man im ganzen Bundesgebiet nach Hotspots suchen. Allerdings gefällt das Design nicht wirklich. Es läßt sich auch nicht nur nach offenen Spots suchen. Gut ist dagen das die Informationen zu den Zugangspunkten sehr umfangreich ist.
- Bei mobileaccess.de habe ich einige doch sehr überraschende Orte gefunden wo man wohl auch umsonst surfen kann. (z.b. im Cannstatter Carre ). Die Suche läßt sich nach Typen (business, öffentlich, privat) eingrenzen. Weniger schön ist, das man sich registrieren soll um an die Detailinfos zu kommen.Lohnt sich meinem Meinung nach aber.
- Dann gibt es da noch MobileCity. Das Cloud Netzwerk stellt für die Stadt mehrere Hotspots und ein Portal zur Verfügung. Das Angebot kann man sich hier ansehen.
Das Projekt für die nächste Theoriepahse ander BA wird dann sein mal die ganzen Hotsots zu testen. Wenn einer von euch schon Erfahrungen damit hat bin ich sehr an Erfahrungsberichten und Meinungen Interessiert

Ich kenne nochdas Gefühl wie man als Kind im Wald ein Höhle gefunden hat und sich gefragt hat was da wohl drinn ist. Oder ob wohl jemand in dem verlassenen Haus am Dorfrand wohnt. Ziemlich unheimlich. Es gibt ja bekanntlich nicht was es nicht gibt. Und so gibt es auch eine WebSite die genau das macht: An Ort gehen wo man eigentlich nicht hin darf.
